Treadmill setting
Set the treadmill to 9.3 mph (15 km/h). Many runners add a 1% incline to better match outdoor effort.
Pacing tips
A 5K is short enough that small pacing errors are costly. Run the first kilometer at goal pace (not faster), hold on through kilometers 2–4, and kick in the final 400–800 m.
